Onchyomycosis (aka Nail Fungus, "Ugly Toenails")

Onchyomycosis is caused by lack of proper circulation to the toes, sweat (or extended contact with other fluids), and infection by common foot fungus (Trichophyton rubum, etc.).  Once a toenail(s) is infected it can be almost impossible for the individual to treat or cure. Fortunately, with the introduction of the Medlite C 6 (q-switch laser) in the past 5-8 years, most of this condition can be reversed and cured.

How many treatments will I require:
Usually 3-4 treatments offered over a 3-4 month timeframe is effective.

Are treatments uncomfortable:
Treatment is not painful with most people feeling virtually no sensation whatsoever.

How much should I expect to pay for Onchyomycosis treatment:

We offer complimentary consultations for onchyomycosis.  Treatment costs range between $99-$199 depending upon complexity, number of toes to be treated, and the degree of infection present.  Prior to beginning laser treatment, specialized, topical medication (ie. Jublia) will be prescribed and must be applied to the infected areas.  The cost for Jublia is approximately $50/mo. and continued use for a minimum of 6 months is required.
